La Ercolano s.r.l. is a family business with an international calling. It was born in the 1940s, when the craftsman Orlando Ercolano, learned the art of in-laying woodwork in one of the many sorrentine shops, deciding to bet on himself, opening a laboratory where the subject became works of art.
The factory with time became an enterprise, the administration of which passed to the son Giuseppe who continued to deepen the pledge, professionalism and passion in every object made. Paintings, tables, trays that come to life with tarantellas and landscapes of great prestige and workmanship. The wood used, the attention to detail, the extreme precision of the products has given it a reputation that has been consolidated and grown, together with the enlargement of the business.
The progress of the productive process has not altogether eliminated the element of workmanship, that remains in all the phases, sustained by a complex but agile business structure, today lead by the grandson of the founder, Orlando.
In spite of the changing traditions, the respect for tradition represents a fundamental element of the continuity.

At the root of the success, a team of managers, engineers, informatics, marketing experts, artists and technicians, that make up the business structure.
The team follows the customer right from his first contact with the business, in the choice of product, in the delivery and the follow-up of the sale. During the whole of this process the client is constantly informed on the state of the order, even if this is a product which is part of a series or one that is personalized on the given indications. In this specific case this can be seen as a definite result thanks to the making of a three-dimensional virtual sample, worked on by the graphic art designers of the business.
Once the okay from customers is obtained, the order is given to the production engineer, who provides the plan of work to respect the times of delivery and writes a list of materials for the supply. It is then the turn of the head of department to translate the instructions obtained for the various masters of the trade employed in specific tasks.
